God doesn’t make a contract with anyone—as in, “you do this and I’ll do this.” Instead He makes covenants in which He carries all the responsibility. Salvation was accomplished, redemption was purchased, the debt was paid, the deal was done—all through the work of His Son, Jesus Christ.
