Come Home: A Call Back to Faith

AWOL Christians.

Our hearts break at their absence. We wonder where they are, what keeps them away, and what can be done to help them home.

Do you see their faces in your mind even now? Perhaps you see your own in the mirror. You’re the wanderer; you’re the skeptic or the prodigal.

The invitation of these compelling messages from James MacDonald is this: Come home.

The great message of the Gospel is the past can be forgiven. Hurts can be healed. Sin can be atoned for. We worship God today because of what Jesus Christ has done for sinful people . . . like us. No matter where you have been or what you have done or how long you’ve been away, God longs for His children to return to Him.

My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. James 5:19-20

This series is one of the best pieces of work James has done. This series impacted me so much. No believer wants to think they're wandering from the faith, but this series opened my eyes to much bigger picture. Every believer walks away from God for time to time and come back. In this series James talks about four different kinds of people that wonder away but can't find their way back.
