Life as it really is divides us on two paths: light and darkness. That’s God’s truth and simple reality. In this first message from the book of 1 John, we see that the apostle John sees life like this too.
Either you’re for God or against Him. You’re on the narrow road that leads to heaven Or you’re on the broad road that leads to destruction. You’re living for God or you’re living for Satan. And if you’re living for God, then you’re living in the truth. If you’re living for Satan, then you’re living in the lies. Every time God speaks, truth comes out of Him. Every time Satan speaks, he lies and destroys. There really is a God. And there really is a standard. And we really all do fall short. And we really do deserve death and judgment. And God really did provide you His grace and the forgiveness of your sins.
