How do you know if you are saved? You aren’t saved because you say so. And you aren’t saved because you know how to be saved. You know you are saved when there is a growing pattern of freedom in your life. Freedom from habits that enslave you, patterns of thinking that debilitate your life, and the pain that results from the bondage to sin. Christ died to break the chains of these sinful habits, and in the Gospels, He promises freedom to those who genuinely believe in His truth and do His will.
